Hi, I’m Dawn
A deep longing to understand the human condition led me to pursue my degree in psychology and sociology at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Meanwhile, a rampant imagination drew me into every creative writing and poetry course I could fit into my schedule.
After my time in academia, I stumbled into an assistant role at a marketing agency, where I developed my copywriting skills and taught myself how to tell a brand’s story. Since then, I’ve spent years writing for companies across a wide range of industries (hello, renowned window treatment conglomerate), but now I focus my work on writing for therapy practices and wellness brands. I’m also currently working on my debut novel, The Last Lamplighter, a historical fiction set in 1850s Worcester (fittingly, my last name). Writing this book has been both the most challenging and the most meaningful project I’ve taken on. I can’t wait for you to read it one day!
